On April 25th and April 26 - The Town Pants perform for two nights at the
Dublin Crossing in Surrey. Or is it Langley? Well, its on the
border but
Canada Post says its Surrey. Its also the birthday weekend of actor Al
Pacino. So we'll be doing Pacino impressions between songs. If that and
heap of fine fast folkin' celt rock isn't enough for you, stay home
already.
We'll be announcing a local Vancouver show soon too. Watch this
space for more details. We'll also be adding more dates to the tour dates
over the summer throughout Canada and the USA.

We always felt that the audience was somewhat of the hidden member of
the band you don't see in photo's of us. So its a chance to connect
with others and maybe you'll maybe find a few friends there, or some
familiar faces at shows you've been to.
In addition for you MySpace people you can find the band's MySpace page HERE
Do you use Live Journal? Check out this site administered by Jenn and Elaine some trusty fans out in New York state.
Ryan Robbins, who audiences in the Metro Vancouver area will be
familiar with as the bands dijeridoo player/ bodhranist/madman stars in
a new original series on Global TV network in Canada called The Guard.
No word on whether or note Dave, Duane and Aaron will make a guest
starring appearance as distraught victims of a tipped canoe. Ryan's got
a blog about the show and you can check it out HERE.

Canadian indie music from across the country. Give one of out tracks a
spin or two and you'll push us up in the most popular downloads charts
on NMC.
In the mid 90's Dave
Keogh played guitar in a Ottawa based rock group called Headview with
the infamous Arman Kamal on vocals. The band released only one CD in
1996, a now-difficult-to-find out of print CD titled "Sad Tomatoes".
Perhaps the guys were ahead of their time as the CD just recently got a
blog review HERE
Battlestar
Galactica actor Aaron Douglas (who plays Chief Galen Tyrol on BSG)
who's a friend and fan of our music wears a familiar t-shirt on this interview
held at a recent sci-fi fan conevention discussing his work on the
show. Cheers, pal! The 3rd season of BSG starts airing in early
October. The Town Pants will not appear as cylons, but stay tuned for
some upcoming clips with Aaron and us soon!
On the Galaxie
Radio's Folk/Roots station, our Weight of Words CD was #8 in July, and
